ADHD Evaluation and Treatment

ADHD Evaluation & Pediatric Care in Arlington, TN

The Pediatric Clinic will provide evaluation for initial diagnosis of ADHD for children over the age of 6. For those under age 6, we refer to neurology for initial diagnosis.

If your child has trouble staying focused, finishing tasks, or controlling impulses, it could be more than just typical behavior — it might be ADHD. Our clinic is here to help you understand what’s going on and find the right support for your child.

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a common condition that affects focus, self-control, and behavior. It’s not caused by bad parenting — it’s a real medical issue that many children face, and with the right help, they can thrive.

What Are the Symptoms of ADHD?

ADHD symptoms vary, but often include:

  • Trouble paying attention

  • Forgetfulness

  • Impulsiveness

  • Fidgeting or difficulty sitting still

Some children are mostly inattentive, others are hyperactive, and many show a mix of both. If these behaviors are frequent and affect school, home, and social life, it might be time for an evaluation.

What Happens After a Diagnosis?

A diagnosis is just the beginning of better support. We’ll walk you through treatment options, answer questions, and provide helpful resources for school and home. Our goal is to help your child build confidence, focus, and success in everyday life.
